Francisco Silva is a Portuguese goalkeeper born in Felgueiras in 2005. He moved from Cova da Piedade to Sporting CP's academy in 2017 and signed his first professional contract in 2021. After progressing through Sporting's youth and under-23 sides, injuries to senior goalkeepers opened a place in the first-team squad, and he made his professional debut in 2024.
