Ousmane Dembele is a French forward born in Vernon in 1997. After developing at Rennes, he moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2016 and then to Barcelona in 2017. At Barcelona he won domestic honours but also dealt with repeated injuries. In 2023 he joined Paris Saint-Germain, where he became an important attacking player and later won major European honours with the club. Dembele made his senior France debut in 2016, was part of the squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup and also played in France's run to the 2022 World Cup final.
