Axel Tape-Kobrissa was born on 10 August 2007 in Bondy, France. He joined the Paris Saint-Germain Academy as a teenager and was a standout performer for David Suárez's PSG U19 team, before transitioning from PSG to Bayer Leverkusen ahead of the 2025-26 season.
He has progressed through France's youth international set-up.
A centre-back who can also play in midfield — having operated there at youth level — Tape combines speed, positional awareness and composure on the ball, and is considered one of the most exciting young defensive talents to come out of the famed PSG academy in recent years.
Leverkusen are integrating him carefully behind their senior centre-back rotation as a long-term back-line investment.
Public information about him is still developing, and this profile will be updated as more career and biographical detail becomes confirmed from independent sources.
