Tim Oermann was born on 6 October 2003 in Bochum, Germany, and progressed through VfL Bochum's youth system before establishing himself in their senior squad. As a 1.92 m centre-back who can also play right-back, he made around 50 Bundesliga appearances for Bochum across multiple seasons.
After Bochum's 2024-25 relegation from the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen signed him on 29 May 2025 with a contract through 2029, paying around €1.5-2 million. He was immediately loaned to Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz for 2025-26 to maintain regular senior minutes while developing further.
He has progressed through Germany's youth international set-up.
A right-footed centre-back with the build for both physical Bundesliga matches and modern ball-playing roles, Oermann is being treated by Leverkusen as a long-term back-line investment, with the Sturm Graz loan continuing the development pathway shared by several other young Bundesliga defenders.
Public information about him is still developing, and this profile will be updated as more career and biographical detail becomes confirmed from independent sources.
