Jérémie Boga was born on 3 January 1997 in Marseille, France, to Ivorian parents, and moved to London as a child. He joined Chelsea's academy in 2008 and gained senior experience on loan at Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City — winning Birmingham's Goal of the Season in 2017-18 — before transferring to Italian side Sassuolo in 2018 for around £3.5 million.
After 98 appearances at Sassuolo he joined Atalanta in January 2022, contributing four goals and six assists in roughly 18 months. In summer 2023 he moved to Nice in Ligue 1 for around €18 million, and in February 2026 he joined Juventus on loan until June 2026, scoring four goals in 12 Serie A appearances and being named Serie A Player of the Month for March 2026.
Although he played for France at youth level, Boga chose Côte d'Ivoire at senior level in 2017 and was an instrumental member of the squad that won the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil, earning a winner's medal. He has earned around 25 caps.
Standing 1.72 m, Boga is a low-centre-of-gravity attacking midfielder / winger with elite close control, dribbling and acceleration in tight spaces — exactly the kind of left-footed wide creator Juventus added in mid-season for late-game game-changing minutes.
