Antonio "Toni" Fernández Casino was born on 15 July 2008 in Rubí, Barcelona, Catalonia. He joined Barcelona's La Masia in 2018, switching from local rivals Espanyol, and has since become one of the academy's most coveted attacking prospects of his generation.
Fernández was called up to senior preseason in 2024–25 and the club's US tour, where he produced eye-catching performances and earned wider attention.
