Jofre Torrents Salvat is a Spanish defender who joined Barcelona's La Masia in 2018 and progressed through the academy despite a torn cruciate ligament setback in 2023. After working back to fitness, he made his Barcelona Atlètic debut on 15 March 2025 in a 1–1 Primera Federación draw with Tarazona.
His senior team breakthrough arrived on 16 August 2025, when he featured in Barcelona's opening La Liga fixture of the season — a 3–0 away win at Mallorca — becoming the seventh La Masia product to debut for the senior team under Hansi Flick. Sporting director Deco has publicly named Torrents as a candidate to be folded into the long-term left-back planning behind Alejandro Balde and Gerard Martín.
A left-footed left-back, Torrents combines speed with ball-carrying ability and recovery aggression — qualities suited to Flick's possession-driven structures. Still developing his physical durability after the ACL recovery, he is one of La Masia's most carefully tracked academy graduates of the current cycle and is being projected for a long-term role at Camp Nou.
