Fermín López Marín is a Spanish midfielder born in El Campillo on 11 May 2003. After early spells with local clubs and Betis, he joined Barcelona's academy in 2016. A loan to Linares Deportivo in 2022-23 gave him senior football in the Primera Federación, and he returned to Barcelona the following summer. He scored in a pre-season Clásico against Real Madrid and then established himself as a first-team option under Xavi. Fermín made his senior Barcelona debut in 2023 and later contributed goals from midfield. Internationally, he was part of Spain's UEFA Euro 2024-winning squad and also won Olympic gold at Paris 2024, scoring six goals in the tournament.
