Pedro González López, known as Pedri, is a Spanish midfielder born in the Canary Islands on 25 November 2002. After youth football with Tegueste and Laguna, he joined Las Palmas and made his senior debut in the Segunda División as a teenager. Barcelona signed him in 2019 and he joined the first team in 2020, quickly becoming a regular in midfield. Pedri's early rise included the 2021 Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy awards, a busy 2020-21 season with Barcelona, UEFA Euro 2020 and the Tokyo Olympics. He has won domestic titles with Barcelona and helped Spain win UEFA Euro 2024 after previously earning an Olympic silver medal.
