Aymen Dahmen was born on 28 January 1997 in Sfax, Tunisia. He came through CS Sfaxien's youth ranks and won the Tunisian Cup in 2018–19, 2021, and 2022, plus the Tunisian Kirin Cup with the national team in 2022. He developed into one of Tunisia's most reliable goalkeepers.
In July 2023 Dahmen moved to Saudi Arabia with Al-Hazm of the Pro League, where he played 29 league matches in 2023–24. After one season in Saudi football, he returned to CS Sfaxien on a free transfer in July 2024. The 2024–25 season brought 20 Tunisian Ligue 1 matches and 6 CAF Confederation Cup appearances.
For Tunisia, Dahmen has been a senior goalkeeper in multiple AFCON and World Cup qualifying campaigns. He played 4 matches at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and continues to feature in friendlies and qualification.
A 188cm goalkeeper with elite shot-stopping range, the height to dominate his box and the senior leadership presence of a multi-tournament international, Dahmen is one of Tunisia's most experienced goalkeepers. He is in line for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad as a senior goalkeeper option in a tournament that will define a generation of Tunisian football.
