Brian Rodríguez Bravo was born on 20 May 2000 in Tranqueras. Peñarol developed him as an explosive winger whose acceleration and direct dribbling could unsettle defenders immediately.
Los Angeles FC signed him in 2019, and he experienced MLS, Concacaf competition and a loan to Almería. That path connected South American youth production with North American investment and European testing.
Club América brought him to Mexico in 2022, and by May 2026 he remained one of their wide attacking options. His career has mixed elite one-versus-one flashes with the search for consistency.
For Uruguay he debuted in 2019 and has appeared across Copa América and World Cup qualifying pools. He gives Bielsa a natural runner when Uruguay need width and depth.
Around 1.74 m and right-footed, Rodríguez can play from either wing. His directness recalls a rougher Ángel Di María, with the vertical energy of early Cristian Rodríguez.
