César Johan Inga Velásquez was born on 30 April 2002 in Peru. He developed as a left-sided defender and worked his way up through domestic football before earning a larger platform with Universitario de Deportes, where defensive discipline and consistency are demanded every week.
Before his Universitario spell, Inga built his profile through Liga 1 minutes and gradually became known as a reliable left-back with enough energy to attack. That development made him attractive to a big club needing depth and competition on the flank.
By 2026 he was playing for Universitario, one of Peru's biggest clubs, and had become part of a squad competing for domestic titles and continental matches. His current role is to provide left-back balance, simple progression and defensive cover behind more attacking teammates.
For Peru he debuted during the 2026 cycle, including involvement around matches in 2025 as the national team widened its defensive options. His appearances came at a time when the left-back position was being refreshed behind Marcos López and Miguel Trauco.
At around 1.78 m, Inga is a left-footed full-back whose strengths are stamina, recovery runs and functional crossing. He is more pragmatic than spectacular, comparable to Nilson Loyola in his domestic reliability, with the aspiration of adding the attacking sharpness that made Miguel Trauco valuable for Peru.
