Giorgi Chakvetadze is a Georgian attacking midfielder who emerged at Dinamo Tbilisi and moved to Gent as a teenager. He became one of Georgia’s most promising creative players and scored in the first ever UEFA Nations League match in 2018. Injuries slowed his progress, but he later gained experience with Hamburg, Slovan Bratislava and Watford. Chakvetadze remains a Georgia international, valued for dribbling, vision and ability to play between midfield and attack.
