Kevin Martín Quevedo Mathey was born on 22 February 1997 in Lima, Peru. He came through Universitario's youth system before making his senior name at Alianza Lima, where his dribbling, shooting and one-versus-one confidence made him one of the most exciting young attackers in the league.
Quevedo's career has moved through Alianza Lima, Goiás in Brazil, Melgar and other domestic stops, with flashes of high-end productivity mixed with periods of inconsistency. At his best he was a decisive right winger who could cut inside and finish; at other times he had to rebuild momentum through regular Liga 1 minutes.
By 2026 he was back with Alianza Lima, again playing for a club where the expectation is immediate and the scrutiny is intense. His return gave him a platform to re-establish himself as a wide forward with end product rather than only a talent of promise.
For Peru he has moved in and out of senior consideration, featuring in qualifying windows and national-team squads when his club form has peaked. He belongs to the generation asked to follow the Farfán-Carrillo attacking line while Peru searches for more reliable goal threat from wide positions.
At around 1.82 m, Quevedo is a right-footed winger who prefers the right side but can attack central spaces. His direct dribbling and shooting off the front foot have been compared with a raw André Carrillo, while his streaky productivity recalls some of Andy Polo's stop-start career pattern.
