Maxloren Sannoe Castro Rufino was born on 8 December 2007 in Callao, Peru. He began playing in local academies, including Tiwinza Los Potrillos, before joining Sporting Cristal as a child, where his dribbling and acceleration made him one of the most closely watched teenagers in the country.
Castro broke into Sporting Cristal's first team at a very young age and quickly accumulated senior minutes in Liga 1. His rise was rapid enough to place him among the most interesting Peruvian prospects of the mid-2020s, especially because he plays in attacking areas where the national team needs renewal.
By 2026 he remained with Sporting Cristal, still developing physically and tactically but already trusted in meaningful matches. His club role is usually as a left-sided or right-sided winger who can receive wide, drive inside and attack defenders directly.
For Peru he entered the youth national-team setup and then the senior conversation while still a teenager, including involvement around the 2026 qualifying period. His call-ups are about projection as much as present production, but they signal the federation's desire to accelerate elite young attackers.
At around 1.68 m, Castro is a left-footed winger with a low centre of gravity, sharp first steps and a willingness to take risks. His dribbling profile invites comparisons with Joao Grimaldo, while his early hype in Peru recalls the first wave of attention around Bryan Reyna.
