Majid Rashid Sultan Al-Khabeel Al-Mehrzi was born on 16 May 2000 in the United Arab Emirates. He developed as a central midfielder in the Sharjah system, learning in a club culture that values tactical discipline, compact spacing and control of match tempo.
His senior breakthrough came with Sharjah, where he moved from squad player to trusted domestic-league midfielder. Sharjah's strong period in league and cup competition gave him demanding minutes, and his role was often to support more creative players by keeping passing angles open and protecting the space in front of the defence.
As of 2026 he remains associated with Sharjah and continues to be used as a midfield option in the UAE Pro League. His value is not always visible in highlight clips, but coaches rely on him for positioning, second-ball work and the ability to keep the team connected when the match becomes stretched.
For the United Arab Emirates he has been involved since the early 2020s and was named in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup squad. Across the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle he added depth to a midfield that mixed experienced Emirati players with naturalized creators and ball carriers.
At around 1.80 m, Majid is a right-footed midfielder who can play as a holding midfielder or number eight. His game is closer to Abdulla Ramadan or Ali Salmin than to a pure playmaker: measured passing, defensive coverage and tactical obedience, with the occasional forward run when space opens.
