Ferjani Sassi is a Tunisian midfielder born in Ariana in 1992. He began his senior career with CS Sfaxien, winning the Tunisian league and CAF Confederation Cup in 2013, then moved to Metz in France. He later played for ES Tunis, Al Nassr, Zamalek, Al-Duhail and Al-Gharafa. Sassi made his Tunisia debut in 2013, was selected for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, scored a penalty against England in 2018, and reached 100 international appearances during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
