Kim Min-jae is a South Korean centre-back born in Tongyeong on 15 November 1996. After starting at Gyeongju KHNP, he became a key defender for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and later played for Beijing Guoan and Fenerbahce. In 2022 he joined Napoli and helped the club win the 2022-23 Serie A title, earning recognition as one of the league's leading defenders. Bayern Munich signed him in 2023. Kim has represented South Korea at senior level since 2017 and played at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
