Maximilian Beier is a German forward and winger born in Brandenburg an der Havel on 17 October 2002. He played youth football for Brandenburger SC Süd, Energie Cottbus and TSG Hoffenheim, making his professional debut for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga in 2020. A two-season loan at Hannover 96 gave him regular senior minutes in the 2. Bundesliga, and he returned to Hoffenheim for the 2023-24 season, becoming the club's top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions. Borussia Dortmund signed him in August 2024 on a five-year contract. He made his Germany senior debut in June 2024 before UEFA Euro 2024 and appeared during the tournament, having previously represented Germany at under-17, under-20 and under-21 levels.
