Silas Ostrzinski was born on 19 November 2003 in Hagen, Germany. He joined Borussia Dortmund's youth academy in 2018 from local club SpVg Hagen 11, progressing through the BVB youth setup.
On 4 January 2025 Borussia Dortmund signed him with a senior contract running through 30 June 2027, integrating him into the wider goalkeeping rotation behind Gregor Kobel and Alexander Meyer.
He has represented Germany at multiple youth international levels.
