Mateus Souza Moraes is a Brazilian centre back born on 6 March 2001. He came through EC Vitória and played senior football there before moving to Japan in 2022 with Yokohama FC. He was part of Yokohama's promotion season from J2 and, after the club's later relegation, joined Vegalta Sendai in January 2024.
