Sebastián Cáceres is a Uruguayan centre-back from Montevideo. Developed by Liverpool Montevideo, he made his professional debut in 2017 and became a regular before moving to Club América in January 2020. In Mexico he won multiple Liga MX titles and domestic trophies with América. Cáceres represented Uruguay at under-18, under-20, under-22 and under-23 levels, including the 2019 South American U-20 Championship and Pan American Games. He received his first senior call-up in 2022 and debuted against Iran.
