Shohei Mishima was born in Tajimi, Japan, and played for Teikyo University Kani High School before attending Chuo University. Although Shimizu S-Pulse showed interest, he joined FC Gifu for the 2018 season and began his professional career in J.League football. In 2022 he moved to Roasso Kumamoto, where he became part of the midfield group and continued to build experience in Japan's professional leagues.
