Willian Arão is a Brazilian midfielder who can also play in defence. After early spells with Corinthians, Portuguesa and Botafogo, he became a long-serving Flamengo player from 2016. At Flamengo he won major domestic and continental titles, including the Copa Libertadores and Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Arão later moved to Fenerbahçe, Panathinaikos and Santos, carrying experience as a holding midfielder, centre-back and leader in possession-based systems.
