Wu Lei is one of China’s leading modern forwards. A Genbao Football Academy product, he became Shanghai Port’s record scorer and helped the club win the Chinese Super League. In 2019 he moved to Espanyol, becoming a rare Chinese outfield player in a major European league, before returning to Shanghai Port and continuing with China.
