PDRM FC, formally known as the Royal Malaysian Police Football Club, is a professional football club based in Selangor, Malaysia, associated with the Royal Malaysia Police. The club has roots in the long tradition of institutional football in Malaysia, where police and armed forces sides competed alongside state associations in the national football pyramid.
The club's first significant achievement came in the 2006–07 Malaysia Premier League season, when PDRM won the second-tier title and earned promotion to the Malaysia Super League for the 2007–08 campaign. Their debut in the top flight was respectable, finishing seventh, but a difficult 2009 season ended in relegation.
A second golden chapter arrived in 2014, when Malaysian football legend Dollah Salleh was appointed head coach. PDRM assembled a competitive squad and won the Malaysia Premier League title once again, returning to the Super League as champions. That season, Maldivian forward Ali Ashfaq was recognised as the Best Foreign Player at the national football awards. The club also claimed the People of Maldives Invitational Cup in January 2015, and finished a creditable sixth in their first Super League season back.
After a period outside the top flight, PDRM earned promotion again ahead of the 2023 Malaysia Super League, benefiting from an expansion of the division from 12 to 14 teams. In that 2023 campaign, the club earned a reputation as a "Giant Killer," holding eventual champions Johor Darul Ta'zim to a narrow defeat and defeating several established Super League sides. PDRM FC is institutionally affiliated with the Royal Malaysia Police and counts Armed Forces F.C. among its affiliated clubs.
