Ângelo was born on 21 December 2004 in Brasília, Brazil, and came through the youth academy at Santos, joining at the age of ten. He made his professional debut in October 2020 at just 15 years old, becoming the second-youngest player ever to appear for Santos — behind only Coutinho — and edging past Pelé's record by eleven days.
His early career produced a pair of notable milestones in the Copa Libertadores. In March 2021 he became the youngest Santos player to feature in the competition, surpassing Rodrygo, and the following month he broke a long-standing record by becoming the youngest player ever to score in a Libertadores match, netting against San Lorenzo at the age of 16 years and just over three months.
A direct, pacey winger with an eye for a creative pass, Ângelo joined Chelsea in July 2023 for a reported fee of around £13 million, signing a long-term deal. He was immediately loaned to French side Strasbourg for the 2023–24 season, where he made 21 appearances across all competitions, contributed several assists, and was named the club's Player of the Month for September 2023 after settling into a regular starting role on the wing.
In September 2024, Chelsea sold Ângelo to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr for a reported fee of around £19.4 million, where he continues his development at senior level. At international level he has represented Brazil at youth level, including the 2019 South American U-15 Championship.
