Chancel Mbemba is a DR Congo defender who played for Anderlecht, Newcastle United, Porto and Marseille before joining Lille. At Porto he won Portuguese domestic honours and gained Champions League experience. Mbemba is also a long-serving DR Congo international, usually operating as a strong and quick centre-back.
