Frans Putros is a Denmark-born Iraqi defender whose career began in the AGF system. He played in Denmark for AGF, Silkeborg, Fredericia, Hobro and Viborg before moving abroad to Port and then Persib Bandung. Able to play centre-back, full-back or defensive midfield, he represented Denmark at youth level before choosing Iraq. Putros made his Iraq debut in 2018 against Palestine, was selected for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, and returned to the squad for the 2023 Asian Cup cycle.
