Jerdy Schouten is a Dutch midfielder born in Hellevoetsluis in 1997. He made his professional debut for ADO Den Haag in 2016, then became a regular at Telstar and Excelsior. Bologna signed him in 2019, and he spent four seasons in Serie A, developing as a central and defensive midfielder. In 2023 he returned to the Netherlands with PSV, where he quickly became part of a title-winning side and later captained the club. Schouten received his first senior Netherlands call-up in 2022, debuted against Wales in the Nations League and was named in the squad for Euro 2024.
