Matt Evans is an attacking midfielder from California who developed in the Los Angeles FC academy and began his senior career with Los Angeles FC 2. He signed a Homegrown Player contract with LAFC and was included in the club's FIFA Club World Cup squad. Internationally, he has represented Guatemala after youth involvement with both Guatemala and the United States.
