Mario Mitaj is an Albanian left-back who was born in Athens and developed at AEK Athens. He made his senior debut in Greece as a teenager before moving to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2022. Mitaj became a senior Albania international while still young and was included in the national squad for Euro 2024, where his mobility and ability to play down the left flank were important assets.
