Merchas Doski is a Germany-born Iraqi left-back from Hanover. After playing youth and lower-league football in Germany, he moved to Wacker Innsbruck in Austria and then earned a move to Slovacko in the Czech Republic, where he became a regular and played in European competition. In 2024 he signed for Viktoria Plzen. Doski first joined Iraq's Olympic-team setup in 2022, then moved into the senior national team later that year. He was selected for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and became one of Iraq's main left-sided defensive options.
