Roman Celentano is an American goalkeeper born in Naperville, Illinois, on 14 September 2000. He played college soccer at Indiana University, where he became one of the top goalkeepers in the NCAA, before being selected by FC Cincinnati in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft. Celentano quickly became Cincinnati's starting goalkeeper and helped the club win the 2023 Supporters' Shield. His shot-stopping and consistency in MLS brought him into the United States national-team environment, where he has been called up as part of the senior goalkeeper pool.
