Andre Blake is a Jamaican goalkeeper born in May Pen in 1990. After playing in Jamaica, he moved to the United States for college soccer at UConn, where he became one of the country's leading collegiate goalkeepers. Philadelphia Union selected him first overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, making him the first goalkeeper taken with the top pick. He became a long-serving Union starter, won MLS Goalkeeper of the Year multiple times and helped the club win the Supporters' Shield. Blake has been a Jamaica senior international since 2014 and has captained the national team.
