Ali Gholizadeh is an Iranian left-footed winger and attacking midfielder born in Namin in 1996. He came through Saipa's academy and moved to Belgian club Charleroi, where he became a regular creative player and developed in a European league. Later he joined Lech Poznan in Poland. Gholizadeh made his Iran debut in 2018 and has been used around the 2022 World Cup and Asian Cup cycles as a dribbler and connector near the forwards, giving Iran a player who can receive between lines and create in tight areas.
