Amir Al-Ammari is a Sweden-born Iraq midfielder developed by IFK Oxnehaga, Husqvarna and Brondby. After starting his senior career in Sweden, he played for Jonkopings Sodra, Halmstads BK, IFK Goteborg and Mjallby before joining Polish club Cracovia in 2024. Eligible for Iraq through his father, he represented Sweden at under-19 level and Iraq at under-23 level. He made his senior Iraq debut in 2021 World Cup qualifying and later scored important qualifying penalties, including a stoppage-time goal against the United Arab Emirates in 2025.
