Bryan Zaragoza Martínez was born on 9 September 2001 in Málaga, Spain, and came through Granada's youth system from 2019. After loans in lower divisions he made his senior Granada debut in 2022 and was instrumental in helping the club win the Segunda División title and earn promotion to La Liga in 2022-23.
His standout La Liga moment came in October 2023 when he scored a brace in a 2-2 home draw with Barcelona, earning the La Liga U23 Player of the Month award.
In December 2023 Bayern Munich signed him for around €15 million, with the move taking effect in February 2024 as injury cover. Since then his career has been a series of high-profile loans: Osasuna in 2024-25, Celta Vigo for the start of 2025-26 and Roma on a six-month loan beginning February 2026.
For Spain he made his senior debut in October 2023, becoming the first Granada player called up since 1974, and has earned three caps with one international goal.
Standing just 1.64 m, Zaragoza is a low-centre-of-gravity left winger built around close control, dribbling and acceleration in tight spaces — exactly the kind of unpredictable individual quality Roma added in mid-season for the run-in.
