Hossein Hosseini is an Iranian goalkeeper born in Shiraz in 1992. He developed through Bargh Shiraz and Esteghlal's system, then became a long-serving goalkeeper for Esteghlal after loan experience and years competing for the starting place. At club level he has played in Tehran derbies, title races and continental fixtures. Hosseini has been part of Iran's senior squads through World Cup qualification and Asian Cup cycles, including the 2022 World Cup period, usually as an experienced goalkeeper behind or alongside Alireza Beiranvand and other national-team options.
