Jacques Ekomié is a Gabonese left-back who developed in France with Bordeaux. Born in Libreville, he joined Bordeaux in January 2021 and made his first-team debut in a Coupe de France match against Brest in January 2022. He played for Bordeaux B and then became part of the senior side in Ligue 2. After Bordeaux's financial problems led to player departures, Ekomié signed a three-year contract with Angers in July 2024. He is also a Gabon international, having made his senior debut during Africa Cup of Nations qualifying in March 2023.
