Mehdi Taremi is an Iranian forward born in Bushehr in 1992. After developing with Iranjavan, he became a star at Persepolis and later moved to Al-Gharafa in Qatar. His European rise came in Portugal with Rio Ave and Porto, where he won domestic honours, scored regularly in the Champions League and became known for intelligent movement, link play and spectacular goals. Taremi joined Inter in 2024. For Iran he debuted in 2015, played at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups and scored twice against England in 2022.
