Orlando Galo is a Costa Rican player from Puntarenas who has been used in defensive and midfield roles. He developed at Alajuelense and became a first-team player there before moving to Herediano, where he played regularly for several seasons. He later joined Riga in Latvia, first on loan and then permanently. Galo made his Costa Rica debut in October 2021 in a World Cup qualifier against Honduras and returned to the national setup after serving a 12-month FIFA ban in 2022.
