Pedro Vite is an Ecuadorian attacking midfielder born in Babahoyo on 9 March 2002. He was formed at Independiente del Valle and was part of the team that won the U-20 Copa Libertadores in 2020. Vite played for Independiente Juniors and then Independiente del Valle's senior team before joining Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer in 2021. In Canada he won multiple Canadian Championship titles with the Whitecaps. He later moved to UNAM in Mexico. Vite has represented Ecuador at youth level and made his senior international breakthrough in 2023, scoring on his debut year.
