Said El Mala is a German winger born in Krefeld on 26 August 2006. He played youth football for Linner SV, KFC Uerdingen 05, Borussia Mönchengladbach, TSV Meerbusch and Viktoria Köln, and signed his first professional contract with Viktoria in February 2024. Two days later he made his senior debut in the 3. Liga. In June 2024 he signed with 1. FC Köln but remained on loan at Viktoria Köln for the 2024-25 season, scoring 13 league goals and being named 3. Liga Newcomer of the Season. Köln extended his contract in 2025, and he scored his first Bundesliga goal in August 2025. El Mala has represented Germany at under-18, under-19 and under-21 levels, receiving a first senior call-up in November 2025.
