Alex Xi Yang is a Spain-born Chinese defender born in Barcelona in 2005. Developed in Spanish football with Espanyol and L'Hospitalet, he moved to China with Qingdao West Coast before joining Shanghai Port. He has represented China at youth level and later entered the senior national-team picture.
