Yuya Takagi is a defender from Yokohama, Kanagawa. He played for Hosei University Daini High School and Hosei University, then joined Yokohama FC as a specially designated player before turning professional. He made his J.League Cup and J1 League debuts with Yokohama FC, later spending time on loan at Thespakusatsu Gunma and moving to Fagiano Okayama. In December 2024 he transferred to Tokushima Vortis, where he has played as a left-sided defender.
