Ibrahim Kanate is a Malian left winger who trained with ASEC Mimosas before playing for Afrique Football Elite in Mali. After attracting European interest, he signed for Anderlecht in January 2025, initially joining RSCA Futures. He made his Anderlecht first-team debut against Club Brugge in May 2025 and later scored his first senior goal for the club against RAAL La Louviere. He has also represented Mali at youth level, including the U-17 side that finished third at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
