Kento Shiogai is a Japanese forward born in Tokyo on 26 March 2005. After playing for Buddy SC Koto, Yokohama FC's youth setup and Kokugakuin University Kugayama High School, he entered Keio University and played for its football team. He became prominent in high school football and later scored 15 goals in his first Kanto University League season, helping Keio win promotion. In January 2024, Yokohama F. Marinos announced him as a future signing and registered him as a specially designated player. He made his J1 League debut against Gamba Osaka in April 2024 and scored his first professional goal soon after against Shonan Bellmare. In August 2024, Shiogai moved to NEC in the Netherlands, where he played alongside other Japanese players and scored in the Eredivisie. On 20 January 2026, he joined VfL Wolfsburg on a four-and-a-half-year contract. He has represented Japan at youth level and made his senior Japan debut in 2026.
