Takashi Usami is a Japanese attacker born in Kyoto in 1992. A product of Gamba Osaka's academy, he made his first-team debut as a teenager and quickly became one of the club's most prominent young players. Usami had spells in Germany with Bayern Munich, Hoffenheim, Augsburg and Fortuna Düsseldorf, then returned to Gamba Osaka. He has won domestic honours in Japan and represented the national team, including selection for the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.
