Ali Maamar is a Brussels-born right-back who represents Morocco at youth level. He passed through Anderlecht, Lierse and Mechelen as a youth player before returning to Anderlecht in 2019. Maamar began senior football with RSCA Futures, signed his first professional contract in May 2024, made his Anderlecht first-team debut in January 2025, and later extended his contract through 2028.
